FPT INDUSTRIAL LEADS VENICE BOAT SHOW WITH ITS LATEST MARINE ENGINES

The ancient Arsenale, symbol of Venice’s historical naval industry, is hosting the 2019 edition of the Venice Boat Show from June 18th to 23rd, where FPT Industrial is displaying its latest marine engines for commercial and pleasure applications.
With contributions both in the spheres of art and technology, FPT Industrial is exhibiting a true record line-up, which encompasses four engines defined by state-of-the-art technologies, reliability, performance and design.
The C16 1000 was developed for light commercial and pleasure applications and is distinguished by its top performance and compactness. With a 16-liter displacement and 6 cylinder in-line configuration, its power reaches 1,000 hp at 2,300 rpm, placing, ranking among the best performance engines in the category. In 2018, with a specific racing configuration, this engine achieved the Guinness World Record for the fastest Diesel powered boat, reaching 277.5 km/h.
